K. Michelle New Orleans Concert reviews
TOP musicians are consistently great!
Once they played that favorite, a satiated glow came over the audience, and now people could comfortably leave. As always, K. Michelle puts on a great show, and the dedicated audience somehow never tires of hearing her essentially same sets over and over, year to year. Unfortunately, like last year with not only K. Michelle but a few other acts, the sound system, especially on vocals, and particularly on the lead vocal, was a little less than clear and perfect. Of course, the crowd would never leave or allow K. Michelle to disappear without playing "You're Still a Young Man." And, it always seems and feels like Humphrey's has somehow squeezed in another 100 chairs, somehow. Either that, or everyone is getting bigger and wider.
